It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. Just kidding. We just cannot seem to get over the yuckies here at our house. For the fourth New Year's in a row, we found ourselves home sweet home. Last year, of course, we were the parents of a newborn. However for the other three it has been due to illness. This year Chase started running a fever New Year's eve afternoon and Noel began New Year's day. A trip to the doctor found Chase's antibiotic he was taking didn't ward off and ear infection and Noel's ears and chest looked and sounded great but he had likely picked up some other strain of cold. Lovely. So we have new antibiotic for Chase but he still woke up at 5:00am with a 103.8 temp this morning. Noel's fever remains low grade but consistant, and Mommy has to be at work tomorrow to run Orientation for our incoming students.

This is my problem too. Why do schools schedule orientation first thing in the morning on the first day back? It is asking for disaster.
